THE HORSE OF STRONG DELUSION AND ITS
RIDER, THE ANTICHRIST
(Rev 6:1,2)
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were
the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw,
and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was
given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
COMMENCING
A BATTLE FOR THE MINDS OF THE WORLD
(Rev
6:1,2) And I saw [Gk: considered]
when the Lamb [of God] opened one of the
seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder
[strongly commanding my attention],
one of the four beasts [Gk:
zoon; a live thing, an animal]
[i.e., a heavenly creature] saying, Come and see [a present
tense imperative command].
And I saw [Gk: perceived, understood] [for correct understanding of this
counterfeit Christ (The Antichrist), contrast Rev 19:11-16 which depicts
the true Christ and His coming],
and behold a white horse [of
great power]: and he that sat on him [is
The Antichrist that with the reins (laws) controls and directs the horse
(great power) of strong delusion]
had a bow [but no arrows, vs. “a sharp sword”
Rev 19:15]; and a crown [vs.
“many crowns” Rev 19:12] was given unto him: and he went forth
conquering [present
tense; (the unsaved)],
and to conquer [future tense; (the unsaved)].
1.
Commentary:
“a white horse” = The horse is a
biblical symbol of strength and power
(ref: the secular adage: “He is strong as a horse.”). This particular horse
appears to be white, the biblical color of purity and righteousness, but the
white color is just a phony bogus counterfeit disguise (as is the rider), covering
over and concealing the thick black darkness of the great power of “strong delusion” 2 Thes 2:11.
2.
(2 Cor 4:3,4) But
if our gospel be hid [Gk: covered up], it is hid [Gk: covered up]
to them that are lost [unsaved]: In whom the god of this
world [Satan, the father of lies: John
8:44] hath
[figuratively] blinded the minds [literally
deluded the minds, for one cannot “blind” the mind] of them which believe not, lest the light [Gk: illumination]
of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the
image [Gk: likeness] of
God [to see an “image” correctly requires un-obscured sight],
should shine [Gk:
to beam forth] unto them.
a.
blinded
= Gk: to make blind,
(figuratively) to obscure /// opaque
(as if smoky) /// to envelop
with smoke, (figuratively) to inflate
with self conceit: - high-minded, be lifted up with pride, be proud /// to make
a smoke, slowly consume without flame: - smoke.

Commentary:
The
Antichrist,
although greatly troubling to us (Great Tribulation), is not a real threat, a mind changer, to the saved
minds of confessing Christians who
dwell upon the “good ground” of fruitful understanding. However, The
Antichrist represents a definite threat, a
definite mind changer (hmmm, who was it that campaigned upon the
promise of bringing us “change”?)
to the minds of unsaved nominal
professing Christians who dwell “by the way side,” on “stony places,”
and “among the thorns” (Mat 13:1-23). And The Antichrist is
a definite mind changer to the minds of the remaining unsaved population of the world.
4.
Commentary: The
Antichrist, armed with and
represented by the bent bow, beguiles
the attention (ref: “The serpent hath
beguiled me” Gen 3:13; bends the
bow, i.e., bends the law – bends
the light) of the unsaved population, bending them away from the straight rod of the Law (Psa 2:9; Rev 2:27; 12;5; 19:15),
bending them away from the straight
beaming rays of the light (illumination) of the Truth (bending the Light),
blinding them first into helplessness, and then into slavery, deceiving
them thoroughly. May we mention that bent light (Light) is
no light at all. “A little leaven
leaveneth the whole lump.” (Gal 5:9).
5.
Commentary:
However, The Antichrist is first and foremost
“self-delusional,” a psychological condition
prominent in narcissistic
personalities, i.e., the inordinate admiration of oneself. Delusion and its synonyms of deception and deceit are an
immeasurably strong evil power. Delusion
changes people the same way as Truth
changes people. Self-delusion
springs from an
evil foundation (from an evil heart) of
pride. Self-delusion (an incorrect erroneous wrong inaccurate false view
of oneself) causes the self-deluded spirit or person to look upon other spirits
or persons through distorted lenses. Thus,
the self-deluded one will incorrectly internalize all of his external
information and assessments to coordinate
with his own established delusional structural parameters; and concurrently, the
self-deluded one will generate and externalize his delusional thoughts in the
articulated format of words and actions directed to and upon others.
a.
narcissism
= Dict: self love; erotic [Sigmund Freud’s influence] gratification derived from admiration
of one’s own physical or mental attributes; a normal condition at
the infantile level of personality development.
LUCIFER’S
PRIDE, HIS FIVE ERRORS OF SELF-DELUSION, AND HIS REWARD
(Isa 14:11-17)
Thy pomp [Heb:
pride] is brought down to the grave,
and the noise [Heb: sound /// to make
a loud noise] of thy viols [music; this word in Hebrew, having many negative connotations]:
the worm [Heb:
in the sense of breeding; a maggot] is
spread under thee, and the worms [Heb:
maggots (as voracious)] cover thee [instead
of my (i.e., God’s) glorious covering which you have gone out from under].
How art thou fallen from heaven, O
Lucifer, son of the morning! how
art thou cut down [Heb: to fell a
tree: cut asunder] [i.e., forcibly humbled] to the ground, which didst weaken the nations [Lucifer’s externalized self-delusion was vented as strong delusion
upon the nations (men); it was so strong that a third of the angels in Heaven
believed him (were deluded)]! For
thou hast said in thine heart
[i.e., an evil heart is the foundation of self-delusion],
I will ascend into heaven [self-delusion],
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God [self-delusion]:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north [self-delusion]:
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds [self-delusion];
I will be like the most High [the
ultimate self-delusion]. Yet
thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit [to
the utter destruction of self-delusion, by God].
They that see thee [other
fallen angels/fallen men whom he has led] shall narrowly [sharply]
look upon thee, and consider thee [thoroughly
think about thee], saying, Is this
the man [Lucifer/Satan, who last
reigned in the then current body of The Antichrist] that
made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a
wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof [consequences of strong delusion]; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
Amen
