NIMROD’S PEOPLE ARE BUILDING A CITY, A TOWER (A TEMPLE) AGAIN

07-08-12

(Psa 34:7)  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

(Psa 127:1)  A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep [Heb: to hedge about, protect, guard] the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

THE TEMPLE OF JESUS CHRIST

(John 1:14)  And the Word [of God, the Bible] was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(John 14:6)  Jesus saith unto him [Thomas], I am the way, the truth, and the life [i.e., the Bible]: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(Isa 28:16,17)  Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge [Heb: shelter] of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

(1 Cor 3:9-17)  For we are labourers together [Gk: colaborers: workfellows] with God: ye are God's husbandry [Gk: cultivable, i.e. a farm], ye are God's building [Gk: architecture, i.e. (concr.) a structure]. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest [Gk: apparent: externally known]: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try [Gk: test: examine] every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

THE TEMPLE OF LUCIFER-SATAN

(John 8:43,44)  Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word [logos, seed]. John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

(Gen 10:8-10)  And Cush [the eldest son of Ham, brother to Canaan] begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter [of flesh, he was a carnivore like the leopard, the bear, and the lion: Rev 13:2] before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel [Heb: confusion: Babylon], and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar [in Babylon (Iraq)].

(Gen 11:1-4)  And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east [after the flood], that they found a plain in the land of Shinar [Babylon; Iraq]; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick [Heb: to be (or become) white; also to make bricks], and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime [Heb: bitumen /// to boil up; hence to ferment (with scum); to glow (with redness); to smear with pitch:--daub, foul, be red, trouble] had they for mortar [Heb: of water; of earth; mire or clay]. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower [Heb: castle, pulpit], whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

(Gen 11:5-9)  And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

BECOMING OF ONE LANGUAGE, AND OF ONE SPEECH,

THEY ARE BUILDING A CITY, A TOWER (A TEMPLE) AGAIN

Rev 6:1  And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Rev 6:3  And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. Rev 6:4  And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Rev 6:5  And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev 6:7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
