WATCH THE WORLD ALWAYS,
FOR YOU ARE IN IMMEDIATE GRAVE DANGER
11-11-12
(Rev 12:1,2) And there appeared [as
history/prophecy] a great wonder in heaven; a woman
[Israel/the church] clothed with the sun [symbol of the glory
of God], and the moon [symbol of Islam; opposition]
under her feet [subdued, submissive], and upon her head a
crown [symbol of regency] of twelve stars [symbol of
the twelve tribes of Israel]: And she [Israel/the church]
being with child [pregnant with Jesus Christ/theSons of God]
cried, travailing in birth [Gk: to experience the pains of
parturition] [the child separating or “parting” from the mother], and
pained [Gk: pained, toiling, tormented, tossed, vexed] to be
delivered [Gk: to produce “much fruit” (John 15:5) for the Lord].
(Rev 12:3-5) And there appeared another
wonder in heaven; and behold a great red [Gk: fire-like; flame
colored] dragon [Gk: (to look); a fabulous kind of serpent (perh.
as supposed to fascinate)] [hypnotize] [Satan, the Devil] [“God shall send
them strong delusion” 2 Thes 2:11], having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part
of the stars of heaven [angels], and did cast them to the
earth [now described as “fallen angels”]: and the dragon
stood before [Gk: in the face of] [in the sense of intensely
antagnistic to; poised to pounce] the woman [the
church] which was ready to be delivered [in great travail; the
final moments of her pregnancy], for to devour [Gk: to eat
down] her child as soon as it was born [1.]. And she
brought forth [in childbirth] a man child, who was
to rule all nations [as “kings and priests” Rev 1:6; 5:10]
with a rod of iron [Moses’ wooden rod (Exo 4:1-5) of forgiveness (a
type of the wooden cross) having been transformed (Rom 12:2) into the iron
rod of judgment (a type of the iron sword)]: and her child was
caught up [Gk: harpazo] unto God, and to his throne
[2.].
1.
(1 Pet 5:8) Be sober [Gk: abstain from wine] [be not
intoxicated], be vigilant [Gk: keep awake; be watchful];
because your adversary the devil [representing the world for
he is the God thereof: 2 Cor 4:4], as a roaring lion, walketh
about, seeking whom he may devour [Gk: gulp entire: swallow (up)]:
[i.e., WATCH THE WORLD]
2.
(Judg 7:6-8) And the number of them [saved Christians]
that lapped [the water of the stream with their tongue; running
moving water is a symbol of the Holy Spirit], putting their hand to
their mouth [that remained “upright” (Lev 26:13; 1 Sam 29:6, 2 Sam
22:24,26, etc.), thereby keeping their eyes fixed on the Midianite army
encamped across the stream], were three hundred men [300
shepherds, officer men]: but all the rest of the
[saved] people [the 9,700 sheep, enlisted men] bowed
down upon their knees to drink water [thereby fixing their eyes on
the water and not on the enemy; and further, bowing down on all fours to the
enemy as “beasts” (Eccl 3:18) versus being “upright” men – an act of
unknowing submission. These saved Christians WERE NOT WATCHING THE WORLD].
And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men [the
shepherds] that lapped [the men that remained upright
shepherds] will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine
hand: and let all the other people go every man [the 9,700]
unto his place [Heb: his standing, spot; also (fig.) of
a condition (of body or mind)]. So the people [the 300
shepherds (combat soldiers)] took victuals [Heb: food]
in their hand [i.e., there was a famine in the land, but
nevertheless, the 300 shepherds took sustenance support from the willing
9,700 sheep (support soldiers – behind the lines)], and their
[own] trumpets [voice, for proclamation]:
and he sent all the rest of Israel every man [the 9,700]
unto his tent [Heb: tabernacle], and retained
[Heb: to fasten upon; hence to seize][comparable in meaning and in action
to the Greek word harpazo meaning “to take for oneself, i.e. to
prefer: choose” 2 Cor 12:2,4; 1 Thes 4:17; Rev 12:5] those three
hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him
[connoting physical, also in the sense of inferior] in the valley
[those three hundred men, having been “caught up” unto God, and to his
throne” (Rev 12:5), were above, connoting spiritual, also in the
sense of superior, to the enemy host in the valley below.
(Rev 12:6) And the woman [the believing
church composed of the remaining 9,700 sheep who did not get “caught up” at
the beginning of the Great Tribulation] fled into the wilderness,
where she hath a place prepared [Gk: topos hetoimazo:
provided, made ready] of God [1.], that they
[who they? the unsaved or the angels?] should feed her [Gk:
nourish] there a thousand two hundred and threescore days
[1,260 days divided by 360 days (the biblical year) equals 3.5 years]
[for the remaining 3 ½ years, less “one day” (Isa 66:8) of the “man
child” delivery, commencing the Great Tribulation].
1.
(John 14:2,3) In my Father's house are many mansions: if it
were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place
[Gk: hetoimazo topos] for you. And if I go and
prepare a place [Gk: hetoimazo topos] for you, I
will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may
be also.
(Rev 12:7-9) And there was war in heaven
[history/prophecy]: Michael [“the archangel” Jude 9]
and his angels fought against the dragon; and the
dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place
found any more in heaven [where is heaven now?].
And the great dragon was cast out [if heaven is in us,
then this statement prophesies that Satan will be cast out of us],
that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan [four different names
indicating four aspects of his character], which deceiveth the
whole world [on November 6, 2012 election day, we experienced a
result of the cumulation of this deception] [1.]: he was cast out
into the earth [i.e., into us, where he is now, and very soon to
be cast further down (status) into “the bottomless pit” Rev 20:1,2],
and his angels were cast out with him [2,3].
1.
deceiveth = Gk: causes to roam (from safety, truth, or virtue): go
astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way /// fraudulence;
subj. a straying from orthodoxy or piety: deceit, to deceive, delusion,
error. [“God shall send them strong delusion, that they should
believe a lie:” 2 Thes 2:11; the devil is “the father of it (lies)” John
8:44]
2.
Commentary: “and his angels were cast out with him”
initially into the earth. But some fallen angels “which kept not their first
estate” (Jude 6), copulated with “the daughters of men” (Gen 6:2) producing
the mutation of the hybrid race of giants. These fallen angels have already
been cast deeper “into the earth,” into the bottomless pit, where the rest
of the fallen angels are destined to be cast with Satan at the beginning and
during the thousand year millennium – peace on earth.
3.
(Dan 12:1) And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there
shall be a time of trouble [Heb: tightness (i.e. fig.
trouble); trans. a female rival: adversary, adversity,
affliction, anguish, distress, tribulation],
such as never was [i.e., Great Tribulation] since there was a
nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be
delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book
[“of life” (Rev 13:8; 17:8; 20:15)].
4.
(Dan 12:2) And many of them [but not “all of
them,” or “they”] that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
contempt [Heb: repulsiveness, aversion: abhorrance].
a.
Commentary: Having elements of all three, this verse
description does not specifically point to “the rapture” (1 Thes 4:17) or to
“the first resurrection” (Rev 20:5,6), or to the “great white throne”
judgment (Rev 20:11), but seems a prophetic macrocosmic overview
encompassing some elements of all three.
5.
(Dan 12:3) And they that be wise shall shine [Heb:
to gleam; fig. to enlighten: admonish, shine, teach, (give) warning]
as the brightness [Heb: brilliancy] of the firmament
[Heb: the visible arch of the sky]; and they that turn many to
righteousness [win souls for Christ] as the stars
[Heb: (in the sense of blazing); a star (as round or as shining);
fig. a prince /// to prick or penetrate: to burn] for ever and ever.
Amen
