God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines,

our building blocks, our Godly thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ.

(Eph 6:1-9)  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour [“esteem and value as precious” Amplif.] thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth [1]. And, ye fathers, provoke [irritate, anger] not your children to wrath [Dict: intense anger; rage; fury] [“do not exasperate them to resentment” Amplif.]: but bring them up in the nurture [Gk: education or training; correction: chastisement] and admonition [Gk: mild rebuke or warning] of the Lord [2]. Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

1.     (Exo 20:12)  Honour thy father and thy mother: [the promise] that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. [the fifth of the Ten Commandments]

2.     (Prov 22:6)  Train up [Heb: narrow; to initiate or discipline] a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

(Eph 6:10-18)  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might [“through your union with Him” Amplif.]. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles [Gk: trickery] [“strategies and deceits” Amplif.] of the devil [1]. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness [Gk: depravity, (specifically) malice; sins] in high places. [2] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins [Gk: the hip; fig. the procreative powers] girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate [covering your heart] of righteousness [i.e., Godliness]; And your feet [walk] shod [Gk: put on shoes or sandals] with the preparation [Gk: making ready] [to use] of the gospel of peace;  Above all [i.e., most importantly], taking the shield [Gk: a large shield (as door-shaped)] of faith [Gk: belief], wherewith ye shall be able to quench [Gk: extinguish] all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet [a head protector of Godly thoughts] of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word [Gk: rhema] [revelations] of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication [Gk: petition] in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance [Gk: persistency] and supplication [Gk: petitions: prayers, requests] for all saints;

1.     (James 4:7,8)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist [Gk: to stand against, oppose] the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

2.     (2 Cor 4:3,4)  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world [i.e., Satan] hath blinded the minds [resulting in total darkness] of them which believe not, lest the light [Gk: illumination] of the glorious gospel [Gk: good message] of Christ, who is the image [Gk: representation] of God, should shine [Gk: to beam forth] unto them.

(Eph 6:19-24)  And for me [the Apostle Paul], that utterance [words derived from the thoughts of God] may be given unto me [from God], that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery [Gk: secrets] of the gospel, For which I am an ambassador in bonds [the bonds of love]: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus [7x] [Gk: fortunate], a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts. Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity [Gk: genuineness]. Amen. [1]

1.     (1 Cor 1:18)  For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish [Gk: to destroy fully; die] foolishness [Gk: silliness, absurdity]; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
