The brightness of our revelations depend upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks

(God is Thought, God is Love, God is a Spirit – Eccl 12:7)

(Isa 66:1-3)  Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor [Heb: humble] and of a contrite [repentant] spirit, and trembleth [Heb: fearful; also reverential] at my word. He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation [Heb: a donation: sacrifice], as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

1.    (Judg 17:6)  In those days there was no king in Israel [no authority, i.e., by extension, no God], but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. [& Judg 21:25]

(Isa 66:4)  I also will choose their delusions [lies; “strong delusion” 2 Thes 2:11], and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

1.    (2 Thes 2:10,11)  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

(Isa 66:5)  Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he [God in Christ Jesus] shall appear to your [to those imputed for righteousness, to all saved persons] joy, and they [all the unsaved] shall be ashamed.

1.    (Joel 2:1-3)  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, [as compared to the saved people who receive the same day] as the morning [Heb: dawn] [i.e., bright, warm, wonderful light] spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to [Heb: until] the years of many generations [i.e., until the ending of the 1,000 year millennium]. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

(Isa 66:6-9)  A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence [Heb: deserving reward] to his enemies. Before she travailed [Heb: to writhe in pain, sorrow] [in childbirth], she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth [more]? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

1.    (1 Thes 4:13-18)  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [Gk: dead], that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep [Gk: dead] in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [Gk: precede] them which are asleep [Gk: dead]. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds [“in the twinkling of an eye” 1 Cor 15:52], to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

(Isa 66:10-14)  Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation [Heb: anger] toward his enemies.

(Isa 66:15,16)  For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind [Elijah’s ascension (the rapture: 1 Thes 4:13-18)], to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

(Isa 66:17-19)  They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. And I will set a sign [of the cross] among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

(Isa 66:20-22)  And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD. For as the new heavens and the new earth [Isa 65:17; 2 Pet 3:13; Rev 21:1], which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

(Isa 66:23,24)  And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases [Heb: corpse, dead bodies] of the men that have transgressed [Heb: revolted] against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
