09-03-23 God is Thought. The brightness of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines, our building blocks, our Godly thoughts laid one upon another, ascending into the mind of Christ. These study notes are archived at

MOSES IS SENT BY GOD TO SAVE GOD’S PEOPLE (and so was Jesus and so are we)

(Exo 3:14) And God said unto Moses [a type and shadow of Jesus Christ, and secondarily, of us in Jesus], I AM THAT I AM: and he [God] said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel [who were then “imprisoned” in Egypt, the land of the unsaved], I AM hath sent me [(Moses, Jesus, us)] unto you

(Exo 4:1-3) And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken [Heb: to hear intelligently] unto my voice [My Words (the Bible)]: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand [Heb: (in thine) power]? And he [Moses] said, A rod [1]. And he [God] said, Cast it on the ground [i.e., completely separate your self from your rod]. And he [obediently] cast it [his rod] on the ground, and it became a serpent [2]; and Moses fled from before it [upon the sudden realization (revelation) of the evil dwelling within his own self]

1.    rod = Heb: a (tree) branch; fig. a tribe; for chastising (fig. correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; fig. a support of life): rod, staff, tribe. [a shepherd’s wood rod (like a cane)]

2.    serpent = Heb: a snake (from its hiss) /// to hiss, to whisper a (magic) spell; prognosticate: divine, enchanter, use enchantment. [to originate lies: propaganda, misinformation, and indoctrination]

a.     Commentary: Moses saw (received the revelation) that the writhing contortions of his formerly wooden rod was indeed a hissing deadly snake (the chief Bible symbol of evil), the correct perception of which exposed the sin nature of Moses… to Moses (whose rod was it?). And his immediate response to the startling recognition of his own sin nature was to immediately flee from it, (fig.) to repent (to think differently, to reconsider).

(Exo 4:4,5) And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand [put forth thy newfound holy power of discernment (because Moses had just received the revelation of sin)], and take [Heb: catch, possess] it [the composite thoughts of your own inner serpent (your sin)] by the tail [1]. And he put forth his hand, and caught [Heb: seized, restrained, conquered] it [conquered his sinful natural thoughts] [2], and it became a rod [of controlled supernatural power] in his handThat they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

1.    Commentary: “take it by the tail” = to control the thoughts (followed by actions) of the devious snake of sin, grasp the snake at its base foundation, at its beginnings; ideally, at its initial thoughts (pre-kindergarten). Please note that education is the basic most vitally important arena of potential revolution in America, and in the world, thus marking teachers personally responsible for the veracity (truth) of their teachings. Simply put, teachers teach currently acceptable culturally desired patterns of thought by leading and thoroughly influencing the thinking of American youth, molding the thoughts of the children into publicly correct or incorrect (as needed) cultural patterns of behavior.

2.    Resist the devil” (James 4:7). Do not attack your or someone else’s inner serpent of sin (the natural man of sin) face-to-face lest in the struggle, you get bitten by its fangs and poisoned with even more sinful thoughts leading unto eternal death (eternal separation from the love of God), but firmly grasp (control) that serpent, that supernatural evil power (i.e., Satan’s thoughts) [a], by its tail (by its base, by its beginnings), for your power rests in your “temperance” (Gk: self-control) (Gal 5:23). For an example of the truly immense power of sin (distorted God thoughts) let us look at the ten plagues (miracles) that were accomplished in Egypt by that same rod of the sin of Mosesunder control.

a.     (Isa 45:7) I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil [i.e., Lucifer-Satan’s evil supernatural power is distorted God thoughts)]: I the LORD do all these things.
