BEAST, THE CORPORATE ANTICHRIST

The brightness
of our revelations depend upon the correctness of our doctrines (our building
blocks)
(1 Sam 17:4-11) And there went out a
champion [ideally, a composite one
who represented all the people] out
of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose
height was six cubits and a
span [over 13 feet tall; a walking
talking fear generator]. And he had an helmet of brass [Heb: filthiness, fig. sin] upon his head [i.e., covering, protecting his thoughts], and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels [194 pounds] of brass [Heb:
filthiness, fig. sin]. And he had greaves [Heb: shin pieces] of brass [Heb:
filthiness, fig. sin] upon his legs,
and a target [shield] of brass [Heb: filthiness, fig. sin] between
his shoulders. And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels [23 pounds] of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him [the
first biblical reference to someone bearing a protective shield that partially
hides Goliath]. And he stood and
cried unto the armies of
1. Goliath = Heb: exile /// to
denude (especially in a disgraceful sense), to exile (captives usually being
stripped); fig. to reveal.
2.
3. Commentary: The seven items (the number 7
symbolizes completion) of the armour of Goliath were 1. a helmet 2. a coat of mail 3. greaves 4. a target 5. a spearhead 6. a sword (1 Sam 17:51) 7. a
shield. May we note that all of Goliath’s armour was physical, whereas the whole amour of God is spiritual (Eph 6:10-18)? Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible
calculates, at 25 inches per cubit, that Goliath was 13 feet and 4 inches tall,
and the total weight of Goliath’s armor was 318 pounds.
4. Commentary: “Saul” = King
Saul was head of the kingdom including the church in apostasy. Because of his
disobedience to Jehovah God, King Saul had recently lost his anointing, and
young David was anointed in Saul’s place “from
that day forward.”
a. (1
Sam 16:13,14) Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him [David] in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward.
So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. But
the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit
from the LORD troubled him.
THE BEAST
(1 Sam 17:31-37) And when the words were heard which David
spake, they rehearsed [repeated] them
before Saul: and he sent for him. And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart
fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine
to fight with him: for thou art but
a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy
servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear,
and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him [the lion], and delivered it out
of his mouth: and when he [the
bear] arose [on his feet] against me [“and his feet were as the feet of a bear,
and his mouth as the mouth of a lion” Rev 13:2], I caught him by his
beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the
bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them,
seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover,
The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the
paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this
Philistine [a clear association
drawn of the lion-bear-Philistine (Goliath)]. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
1. (Rev 13:1-3) And I stood upon the sand of the sea [a symbol
of humanity], and saw a beast [Gk: a dangerous animal: (venomous, wild)
beast] rise up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his
heads the name of blasphemy. And the
beast which I saw was like unto a
leopard [a New Testament addition
representing “speed”], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [crushing power], and his mouth as the
mouth of a lion [loud fear inspiring voice]: and the dragon gave him his power, and his
seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound
was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
(1 Sam 17:38-41) And Saul armed David with his armour,
and he put an helmet of brass [Heb: filthiness (sin)] upon
his [David’s] head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his [Saul’s] sword upon his [Saul’s] armour, and he assayed to go; for he
had not proved [Heb: tested] it. And David said unto Saul, I
cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him. And he took his staff
in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones [types and shadows of “apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors,
teachers” (Eph 4:11,12)] out of
the brook [Heb: stream: river]
[i.e., a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit], and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a
scrip; and his sling was
in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine. And the Philistine came on and
drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
1. Commentary: “the man that bare the shield went
before him” = is the second biblical reference (the first reference being 1
Sam 17:7) to the prophecy of Goliath’s shield-bearer and now informs us that
the shield-bearer will be “the man”
(1 Sam 17:41), symbolizing mankind.
That prophecy is clearly being played out by “the fake news media,” a term of exposure first coined by President Trump. The fake news media is represented in the Bible as “the man that bare the shield [of protection while covering from sight an
evil partially hidden (partially exposed) thing which] went before him.” What is that “thing” originally called Goliath?
It is the “beast” nature (Eccl 3:18; Rev 13:1-3) of the
corporate “antichrists” (1 John
2:18,22; 4:3; 2 John 1:7), and “the man”
bearing the shield is the false
prophet (Rev 13:11-18 & Rev 16:13; 19:20; 20:10).
THE FALSE PROPHET
(Rev 13:11-18) And I beheld
another beast coming up out of the earth [parchment, paper, i.e., the false (lying)
prophet 2,000 years ago]; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a
dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and
causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed [Goliath]. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire
come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those
miracles [“faith cometh by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God” (Rom 10:17); faith does not come by sight] which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did
live. And he had power to give [the
appearance of] life unto the image of the beast [via television, computers, and movies (all sight modes)], that the
image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would
not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth
all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their
right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save
he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here
is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man;
and his number is Six hundred
threescore and six.
INDISTINCTLY VIEWING THE FAR
HORIZON
(1
Sam 17:48-54) And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and
drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted [Heb: to be liquid or flow easily], and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand
in his bag, and took thence a stone [any one of the five offices, i.e., the word of God], and slang it, and smote [Heb:
struck, killed, wounded] the
Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead;
and he fell upon his face [versus
on his back] to the earth [prostrate]. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone,
and smote the Philistine, and slew [Heb: to die, slayed] him;
but there was no sword
in the hand of David. Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took
his [Goliath’s] sword [not the sword of the Lord],
and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head
therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead,
they fled. And the men of
1. Concluding Commentary: Goliath was a mutation of fallen angels
and mankind. One cannot kill a spirit; a spirit, like Legion, is a community of
like thoughts. Therefore the spirit of Goliath lives. Goliath was dead and
lives again in “the beast” who is “antichrist.”
(Dan
12:9) And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
1. Commentary: we have entered
into “the time of the end.”
