YOU ARE A SON OF GOD, A CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD, AND SOME OF YOU ARE BEING RESTORED TO HOLINESS TO BE ONCE AGAIN A HOLY CONSUMING FIRE (i.e., God’s Thoughts manifested as God’s angels, God’s Words), A FULLY EMPOWERED ANGEL, A SOLDIER OF/FOR JESUS CHRIST

1.    holy = Dict.: 1. Dedicated to religious use; belonging to or coming from God; consecrated; sacred. 2. Spiritually perfect or pure; untainted by evil or sin; sinless; saintly. 3. Regarded with or deserving deep respect, awe, reverence, or adoration.

2.    Commentary: Yes, but to what purpose?

GOD SENT A MAN OF SORROWS… TO REDEEM US

(Isa 53:1-6) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm [Heb: power] of the LORD revealed [Heb: disclosed, discovered]? For he [Jesus Christ] shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form [Heb: figure or appearance] nor comeliness [Heb: magnificence]; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised [Heb: disesteemed: disdained, contemnptible, think to scorn, vile person] and rejected [disregarded, unwanted, spurned, rebuffed, refused] of men; a man of sorrows [Heb: anguish or fig. affliction: grief, pain, sorrow], and acquainted with grief [Heb: malady, anxiety, calamity: sickness]: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed [Heb: valued, regarded: think (thought of)] him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken [troubled, afflicted], smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions [Heb: rebellions], he was bruised for our iniquities [Heb: perversities, (moral) evils: sins]: the chastisement [Heb: fig. reproofs, warning or instruction; also restraint: correction, discipline] of our peace [Heb: safety, happiness, health, prosperity] was upon him; and with his stripes [Heb: wounds] [whip strokes, lashes (mental and physical)] we are healed [Heb: mended (by stitching), cured: repaired, made whole]. All we like sheep have gone astray [Heb: to vacillate: (be) deceived, seduced, (cause to) wander, be out of the way]; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD [God] hath laid on him [Jesus Christ] the iniquity [Heb: perversities, (moral) evils: sins] of us all

1.    redeem = Dict.: 1. To buy back. 2. To get back; recover, as by paying a fee.

2.    (Judg 21:25) In those days there was no king [no man nor God was looked up to for leadership or guidance] in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes

TRIBULATION, EVEN IN THE LATTER DAYS

(Deut 4:27-31) And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number [greatly outnumbered] among the heathen [non-believers], whither the LORD shall lead you. And there ye shall serve [their] gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soulWhen thou art in tribulation [Heb: narrow; in a tight place, trouble: distress], and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn [from your wicked ways] to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient [Heb: to hear intelligently, (pay) attention: consider, listen, understand] unto his voice [the Words of the Bible trumpeted by Jesus Christ (John 1:14)]; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee [Heb: leave, let alone], neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

1.    (1 Sam 15:22,23) And Samuel said [to King Saul], Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken [Heb: give heed, regard] than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected [Heb: spurned: despised, loathed, melted away, refused, vile person] the word of the LORD [i.e., the Bible], he hath also rejected thee from being king.

PURPOSE

(1 Chron 4:9,10) And Jabez [a type and shadow of Jesus Christ] was more honorable [1] than his brethren [brothers and sisters]: and his mother called his name Jabez [Heb: to grieve, sorrowful], saying, Because I [herein referencing Mary (Heb: rebellious /// bitter) who symbolizes all mankind] bare him with sorrow [2]. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast [3], and that thine hand [Heb: power] might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from [doing] evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

1.    honorable = Dict.: moral, decent, worthy, proper, upright, noble, good, fair, righteous, right, ethical, principled, admirable, praiseworthy, respectable, laudable.

2.    sorrow = Heb: an idol (as fashioned); also pain (bodily or mental): X wicked /// an earthen vessel; usually (painful) toil; also a pang (whether of body or mind): grievous, idol, labor, sorrow /// properly to carve, fabricate or fashion; hence (in a bad sense) to worry, pain or anger: displease, grieve, hurt, make, be sorry, vex, worship, wrest.

3.    Commentary: “Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed” = This entire phrase of blessing is numerically rendered twice in Hebrew as H1288 H1288 which perhaps emphatically suggests (consciously or subconsciously by the modern interpretating author) the “double portion” blessing upon the eldest son. In this symbolic context, the eldest son is Jesus Christ... and us (we who are in Jesus Christ). This is an exceedingly significant blessing, but to what purpose? And we learn in the very next phrase that God’s purpose is literally to: enlarge my coast i.e., enlarge the Kingdom of God, enlarge the Kingdom of Heaven, enlarge (Heb: incease) my coast (Heb: a boundary; by extension the territory inclosed).

4.    grieve = Heb: to carve, fabricate or fashion; worry, pain or anger: hurt, vex.

ACHIEVING GOD’S PURPOSE, i.e., THE GREAT COMMISSION

(Mark 16:15,16) And he [Jesus Christ] said unto them [His disciples], Go ye into all the world [Gk: kosmos; “cosmos”] [the universe], and preach the gospel [of Love] to every creature [unto which the category of “man” is but one of many subsets of created beings (entities)]. He that believeth [Gk: (is) faithful; entrusting: put trust with (God)] and is baptized [Gk: whelmed (fully wet): washed] [in the Word of God] shall be saved [Gk: sos; “safe” delivered or protected: healed, preserved, made whole]; but he that believeth not shall be damned [Gk: judged against, sentenced: condemned]

1.    (Eph 5:26,27) That he [Christ Jesus (John 1:14)] might sanctify [Gk: make holy, purify] and cleanse it [“the church” v.25, congregate members] with the washing [Gk: baptism] of water by the word [Gk: rhema; revelations from the Bible], That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish
