God is Thought. We
are God’s thoughts. The brightness
(glory) of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrines,
our building blocks, our Godly Thoughts laid one upon another,
ascending
into the mind of Christ.
Angels are created as Spirits. Angels are
Father God’s manifested naked thoughts (fig. seeds). Human
bodies
are manifested coverings (fig. seed pods) of God’s hidden
seed-thoughts,
thoughts that are deep planted to become metaphorically “a well of
water
springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14).
FELLED TREES
(Psa
1:1-3) Blessed [Heb: happy] is the man that
walketh
not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor
standeth in the
way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his
delight is in the law of the LORD [i.e., the Bible];
and
in his law doth he meditate [Heb: ponder: study, talk]
day
and night. And he shall be like a tree [men
(and women
in men) are symbolized as trees in the Bible] planted
[Heb: transplanted] [i.e., felled
and replanted, saved, imputed for righteousness] by [“by”
in a spiritual location sense (near), and “by” in a spiritual action sense (doing)] the rivers of
water [moving waters symbolizing the Holy Spirit],
that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his
leaf
[Heb: a leaf (as coming up upon a tree); foliage: branch]
[symbolizing his offspring, his children] also shall not
wither
[Heb: wilt; fall away, fig. to be foolish or (morally) wicked;
disgrace,
dishonor, lightly esteem, fade (away), come to naught, make vile];
and
whatsoever he doeth shall prosper [Heb: to push
forward:
be good, be profitable, (cause, effect, make, send) prosperity].
THE FELLER OF TREES
(Dict: one who cuts down, to fell a tree)
(Matt
3:10) And now also the [feller’s (the carpenter’s)] axe
[Jesus Christ is that axe head (and we are the wooden
handle)] is
laid unto the root of the trees [separating the tree from
its roots that,
like an ugly hand, cling to the earth (cling to the ways of a
fallen
(cursed) world)]: therefore every tree which bringeth not
forth good fruit [for the Lord God, i.e.,bringeth no
salvations, restorations,
healing of spiritual wounds, one’s own salvation and others] is
[ultimately] hewn down [Gk: cut down] [“every
knee shall
bow” Isa 45:23; Rom 14:11], and cast into the fire [“and
shall be as the fuel of the fire” Isa 9:19; Ezek 21:31,32 & Zach
12:6].
1.
(2
Kings 6:1-7) And the
sons of the prophets [Heb: inspired men] [who were
students in one
of several schools of prophets] said unto Elisha, Behold now,
the place
where we dwell with thee is too strait [Heb:
small] for
us [i.e., “Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5]. Let us
go, we
pray thee, unto Jordan [symbolic of the Holy Spirit],
and
take thence [of there] every man a beam [Heb:
a
rafter: roof] [alluding to higher covering revelations], and let
us make
us a place there, where we may dwell. And he [Elisha]
answered,
Go ye. And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go
with thy
servants. And he answered, I will go. So he went
with them.
And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood
[symbolic of
separating men from the world (men are trees in the Bible)].
But
as one was felling a beam [prophecy understood cuts
people
(trees) away from the world], the axe head [symbol
of
Jesus Christ] fell [Heb: perished] into
the
water [now representing into/for all mankind]: and
he cried,
and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed [it was not
my axe
head but another’s, i.e., it was Father God’s only Son]. And
the
man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him
the place. And
he cut down a stick [of wood destined to serve God],
and
cast it in thither [following Jesus Christ]; and
the iron
did swim [in the waters of people/the Holy Spirit; the iron
was
resurrected to eternal life with the attached stick].
Therefore
said he [Elisha], Take it up to thee
[make it
yours] [a]. And he put out his hand [his power,
his will],
and took it [claimed it as the sign and the power of the
cross].
a.
(Luke
9:23) And he said to
them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and
take
up his cross daily, and follow me.
2.
(Num
17:6-8) And Moses
spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes [each
a leader of one of the twelve tribes] gave him a rod
apiece [Heb:
a branch (of a tree)] [a wooden shepherd’s rod for the correction,
rule, and protection
of the flock], for each prince one [rod],
according to
their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was
among
their rods. And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in
the
tabernacle of witness [extrabiblically but incorrectly
called “the
tabernacle of Moses” (ref. Rev 21:3)]. And it came to pass, that
on
the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the
rod of Aaron for the house [tribe] of Levi was budded,
and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded
almonds
a.
almond = Heb: the almond (tree or
nut); as being the earliest in bloom /// to be alert, sleepless, hence
to be on
the lookout (whether for good or ill): remain, wake, watch (for).
b.
Commentary:
“and yielded
almonds” = that is, brought forth, “yielded,” (syn:
presented) fruit
(to the Lord) from a once dead but now living wooden
rod [Heb: branch]. This was a visible material miracle
accomplished overnight Biblically, but perhaps instantly “in the
twinkling of
an eye” (1 Cor 15:52) sometime that night, thereby symbolizing the
death,
burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the promise of
the same
for we who are the Body of Christ [please recall that He
was attached
to the wooden cross].
3.
(Isa
9:19) Through the
wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and
the
[unsaved] people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no
man
shall spare his brother.
a.
(1
Thes 5:8,9) But let
us, who are of the day [i.e., saved],
be
sober [of a sound mind], putting on the
breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet, the
hope
of salvation. For God hath not appointed [Gk:
purposed] us
to wrath [Gk: justifiable abborance; by implic. punishment:
anger, indignation,
vengeance], but to obtain salvation by
our Lord
Jesus Christ, [i.e., a felled tree is a good thing]
b.
(Ezek
21:31,32) And I
[God] will pour out mine indignation upon
thee,
I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath,
and
deliver thee into the hand of brutish [Dict: savage,
gross,
stupid, sensual, irrational] men, and skilful to
destroy. Thou
shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of
the land;
thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
[i.e.,
a fallen tree is a bad thing]
4.
(Zech
12:6) In that day
will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth
[stove, furnace] of fire among the wood, and like
a
torch of fire in a sheaf [Heb: a bunch of grain] [ref.
“chaff” Psa
1:4-6]; and they [i.e., us/we] shall
devour
[Heb: consume] all the [unsaved] people
round
about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited
again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
Amen
