GOD IS THOUGHT
(Luke 17:20,21) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when
the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom
of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo
here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
(Luke 17:20,21) And when he [Jesus] was demanded [strong
connotations of insistent commands] of the Pharisees [unsaved
unbelievers], when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and
said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation [Gk: ocular
evidence] [1]: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there!
for, behold, the kingdom of God is within [Gk: inside] you [2,3].
1. (2 Cor 5:7) (For we walk by faith [Gk:
belief] [in “the invisible God” Col 1:15], not by sight:)
2. (John 7:37-39) In the last day, that great
day of the feast [of tabernacles], Jesus stood and cried, saying, If
any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink [(of the water of my
words, i.e., my thoughts)]. He that believeth on me, as the
scripture hath said, out of his belly [i.e., out of his insides. A
statement signifying it was previously “in his belly”] shall flow
rivers of living water. (But this [“flow”] spake he of the Spirit
[of God], which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy
Ghost [the Holy Spirit of God] was not yet given; because that Jesus
was not yet glorified [not yet dead, resurrected, and glorified in
Heaven].)
3. Commentary: But how can the body of unbelieving
Pharisees and the believing us contain “the kingdom of God”? Answer:
because all humans are fallen angels.
GOD IS THE TREASURE HID IN A FIELD
(Matt 13:44) Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in
a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy
thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
(Matt 13:44) Again, the kingdom of heaven [interchangeable with
“the kingdom of God” (Matt 19:23,24)] is like unto treasure [like a
spiritual kingdom analogous to a 6th dimension, i.e., another
unperceived invisible world, ref. to 2 Sam 21:20] hid [Gk: concealed
(by covering)] in a field [“the field is the world” Matt 13:38]; the
which when a man hath found [by seeking, by digging down into the
covering dirt of his earthly thoughts, through introspection (syn:
self-examination, meditation, self-analysis, contemplation,
soul-searching)], he hideth [1,2], and for joy [Gk: cheerfulness,
delight: gladness, exceedingly joyful] thereof goeth and selleth all
that he hath [sacrifices all his earthly life-style], and buyeth [with
his total commitment as the purchase price for] that field [for that
newly perceived spiritual field (world) of the kingdom of heaven/God].
1. (Luke 8:9,10) And his disciples asked him,
saying, What might this parable be [Gk: (symbolically) a fictitious
narrative of common life conveying a moral: comparison]? And he
said, Unto you it is given to know [Gk: understand] the mysteries of
the kingdom of God [the kingdom of heaven]: but to others [unsaved
people] in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they
might not understand.
2. (Matt 13:15) For this people's heart is
waxed gross [Gk: thickened, rendered callous], and their ears are dull
of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they
should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should
understand with their heart, and should be converted [Gk: revert:
return], and I should heal [Gk: cure: make whole] them.
