The brightness of our
revelations depend upon the correctness of our doctrines (our building
blocks)
(John 2:1,2) And the third day [1,2] [after Jesus was baptized in the river
Jordan, symbolizing the third day resurrection] [3] there was a marriage in Cana [Heb:
reediness, place of reeds] [4] of
Galilee [Heb: the heathen circle]; and the mother [Mary] of Jesus was there:
And both Jesus was called, and his disciples [Gk: learners, pupils], to the marriage [a “melding” (bonding, healing) together of
two individuals into one entity] [fig., a “melding” of us and Jesus Christ into
“one”].
1. (2
Pet 3:8) But,
beloved, be not ignorant [Gk: unaware] of this one thing, that one day is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2. (Hosea 6:1-3) Come,
and let us return [be restored] unto the LORD: for he hath torn [us
from Him, i.e., from the Garden of Eden, from a type and shadow of Heaven], and
he will heal us [to Him, back into
Heaven]; he hath smitten [Heb:
wounded], and he will bind us up. After
two days [after 2,000 thousand
years] will he revive [Heb: to live: restore (to life), make whole]
us: in the third day [within 3,000 years] he will raise us up [i.e., resurrect us], and we shall live [eternally] in his sight. Then shall we
know [Heb: understand], if we follow on to [intimately] know the LORD: his going forth is prepared [certain] as the morning
[Heb: dawn] [i.e., a fixed, sure thing];
and he shall come unto us as the rain [Heb: a shower] [of drops of water, symbolic of the blessings of the
Holy Spirit], as the latter [Heb: spring] [New Testament] and
former [Heb: autumn] [Old
Testament] rain [together, as a deluge of blessings] unto the earth [unto us].
3. (Mat
3:16,17) And Jesus,
when he was baptized [fig., with the “active”
Fullness of the Holy Spirit], went up [Gk: arose, ascended] [fig., the Fullness is above us (Heaven)] straightway [Gk: immediately] out of the
water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him [as they shall be with us], and he [John] saw the Spirit of
God descending like a dove
[Gk: a pigeon] [a], and lighting
upon him [now Jesus the Christ]: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This
is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
a. dove
= Heb: a dove (apparently from the
warmth of their mating): pigeon
/// effervesce; wine (as
fermented); by implic. intoxication: banqueting. [happiness, joy, “light” Gen 1:3 ]
i.
Commentary: perhaps
signifying by extension, the “mating”
(“melding,” becoming one) of Jesus
(representing us) and the Holy Spirit
(representing God), thereby becoming Jesus
the Christ [Gk: the anointed].
ii.
effervescent = Dict: 1. giving off gas bubbles [blessings, 522x]; bubbling up; foaming. 2. lively and
high-spirited; vivacious.
iii.
vivacious = Dict: 1. full of life and animation; spirited; lively. 2. long-lived.
4. Commentary: Prophecy fulfilling: The city of
a. (Exo 14:22,23) And the
children of
b. (Exo 14:28) And
the waters [symbol of the Holy Spirit] returned [the closed book, a type and shadow of the Second Coming of Jesus
Christ], and covered the chariots, and the
horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after
them; there remained not so much as one
of them.
(John
2:3-5)
And when they wanted
[Gk: to fall short (be deficient): lacked] wine [another symbol
of the Holy Spirit] [1], the mother
of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman,
what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith
unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it [those
are the last words of Mary in the Bible; i.e., wise counsel].
1. wine
= Gk: wine (literally or figuratively). (or perhaps of Hebrew origin) Heb: effervesce; wine (as fermented); by implic.
intoxication: banqueting. [happiness,
joy, “light” Gen 1:3]
2. (John 7:37-39) In
the last day, that great day
of the feast [of tabernacles, “the
feast of ingathering” Exo 23:16; 34:22],
Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me [a,b], and drink. He that believeth on me [“who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me” Amplif. Bible], as the scripture hath said, out of his
belly [“Out from his innermost
being” Amplif.] shall flow [“continuously” Amplif.] rivers
of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that
believe on him should [“afterward”
Amplif.] receive: for the Holy
Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet
glorified [raised to honor,
magnified].)
a. (John
16:7) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient [Gk: good, profitable] for you that I go away: for if I go not
away, the Comforter [the Holy Spirit]
will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
b. (John
1:14) And the
Word [of God, the Bible] was made flesh [in Jesus Christ], and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld his glory, the glory
as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace [“favor, loving-kindness” Amplif.] and truth.
c. (Mat 26:26-28) And as they were eating, Jesus took bread [the
logos Word], and blessed it,
and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup [of wine, the
rhema Word], and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink
ye all of it; For this is my
blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission [forgiveness] of sins.
3. (John
12:23) And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come [refer: “mine hour is not yet come” John
2:4], that the Son of man should be
glorified [raised to honor,
magnified].
Amen
