THE
WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST
(Mark
4:13,14) And he said unto them, Know
[Gk:
consider] ye not this parable? and how
then will ye
know [Gk: understand] all
parables? The sower soweth the word. (Luke
8:11) Now the parable is this:
The
seed is the word of God.
THE
REASON (PURPOSE) FOR PARABLES
(Matt
13:10-12)
And the disciples [Gk: learners, pupils, students]
came,
and said unto him [Jesus], Why speakest thou unto
them [unto
those who are not disciples, i.e., unto the unsaved multitude] in
parables [Gk: similitudes (symbolically), ficticious
narratives (of
common life conveying a moral)]? He answered and said unto
them,
Because it is given [Gk:
ministered]
unto you to know [Gk:
be aware of,
have knowledge of, perceive, understand] the
mysteries [Gk:
secrets (silence)] of the of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever
hath [understanding]
[“spiritually understands” Amplif. Bible], to him shall be given
[more
understanding], and he shall have more abundance [Gk:
superabound (in quantity or quality)] [of understanding]: but
whosoever hath not [understanding],
from him shall be taken away [Gk:
lifted up, loosed, removed] even that [superficial
understanding
that] he hath.

Commentary:
What “shall be taken away”? =
Answer: even the slightest
superficial understanding (awareness) of the seed that fell on the soil
between
the stony places of his heart (mind, thoughts).

13:20,21) But he that received the seed into stony places [Gk:
rock like, rocky] [hard-hearted], the same is he that heareth
the word,
and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet
[Gk:
But] hath he not root [a]
in himself, but dureth [endures]
for
a while [but, his understanding “shall be taken away”]:
for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by
and by
he is offended [Gk:
“scandalized”;
entrapped, tripped up, stumbles; enticed to sin,
apostasy or
displeasure].

things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the
bright and

4:16,17) And these are they likewise
[to/as
the previous “by the way side” group] which are sown on stony
ground
[this “stony” group is destined to suffer the same unsaved
fate as
the “by the way side” group]; who, when they have heard the
word,
immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in
themselves,
and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or
persecution
ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are
offended.

the word with joy; and these have no
root,
which for a while believe, and in time of temptation [Gk:

Therefore speak I to them [the unsaved multitudes] in
parables:
because they [“having the power of” Amplif.] seeing
see

they hear not, neither do they understand. And
in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which saith, By hearing
ye shall hear, and shall not understand [the
spoken/written tongue]; and seeing ye shall see [superficially],
and shall not perceive [comprehend]: For
this people's heart [Gk: mind (thoughts)] is waxed gross [Gk:
(thick), fattened (fig. stupefied or rendered callous)], and
their ears
are dull of hearing [Gk:
heavy ///
weighty, burdensome], and their eyes they have
closed; lest at any time they should see with
their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand
with
their heart [Gk: mind (thoughts)], and should be
converted
[Gk: revert: come again, return, turn again], and I should heal [Gk:
cure: make whole] them. But blessed [Gk: happy]
are your eyes, for they see: and your
ears, for they
hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous
men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not
seen
them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not
heard them.
ISAIAH’S
(and our) COMMISSION FROM THE LORD
(Isa
6:8-10)
Also I [Isaiah] heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who
will go for us? Then said I, Here
am I; send
me. And he said, Go, and tell this [unsaved]
people,
Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed,
but
perceive not. Make the heart [mind
(thoughts)] of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and
shut
their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand
with
their heart [mind (thoughts)], and convert [Heb:
turn back: cause to return, restore,
reverse], and
be healed [Heb:
mended (by stitching):
cure, repair, X thoroughly, make whole].
(Isa
6:11-13)
Then said I, Lord, how long [(shall
I minister)]? And he answered,
Until the
cities be wasted without inhabitant [caused by
worldwide thermo-nuclear
war], and the houses [are]
without man [Heb: a human
being], and the land be utterly
desolate [alone], And
the LORD have removed [Godly] men far away
[via
the “rapture” (e.g., Noah and Lot)], and there be [left]
a
great forsaking [Gk: desertion (of inhabitants)] [from
Godliness,
resulting in the Great Tribulation] in the midst of
the land
[symbolically, the land is the defiled soil of the
hearts of
unsaved people]. (Isa 6:13) But yet in it [the
land]
shall be a tenth [fig. the tithe who are believers, the
elect
remnant who walk in Godliness; the tithe goes to God],
and it [the
elect remnant] shall return [post rapture, in
Holiness to
the earth], and [they (their messages)] shall be
eaten [Heb:
consumed] [as is the fruit of a righteous tree]: as a
teil
tree, and as an oak [tree] [human beings and angels
(fruit
trees in the Garden of Eden) are symbolized as trees in the Bible (Psa
1:1-3,
etc.)], whose substance [fruit seeds] is
in them,
when they cast [Heb:
(to) fell
(trees)] their leaves
[messages]: so the holy seed
[i.e.,
Jesus Christ, the Word of God, the Bible) John 1:14] shall be the substance thereof.
THE
LEAVES
(Rev
22:1-5)
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life [i.e.,
the Holy
Spirit], clear as crystal [Dict: transparent
quartz, a very clear brilliant glass], proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In
the
midst of the street [the avenue of God’s Holy purpose]
of it,
and on either side [indicating multiple Christ
entities, i.e.,
us] of the river, was
there the tree of life [symbol
of Jesus Christ], which bare twelve
manner [kinds]
of
fruits [1],
and yielded [Heb:
delivered] [as
the Bride of Christ] her fruit [“the word of God” Luke 8:11]
every
month: and the leaves [messages]
of the tree were for the healing
of the nations. And
there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the
Lamb
shall be in it; and his servants [us]
shall serve him: And they [we] shall see
his face; and his name [Gk:
authority, character] shall be in their [our] foreheads
[thoughts]. And there shall be no night there [in
the
Kingdom of Heaven]; and they need no candle, neither
light of
the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light
[Gk:
to shed rays, shine: enlighten, illuminate, make to see]: and they shall reign [as
“kings and
priests” Rev 1:6; 5:10] for ever
and ever.

Commentary:
“twelve manner of
fruits” = which are the 9 gifts of “the fruit of the spirit” (Gal
5:22,23)
plus the 3 gifts of “the fruit of the spirit” (Eph 5:9) equaling twelve manner of fruits.
