THE TREES IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN ARE EXCLUSIVELY FRUIT TREES
(a type and shadow of heaven)
(Gen 1:11,12)  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

LOGIC AND EMOTION
(Gen 1:27-29)  So God created man in his own image [Heb: a shade, a phantom] [1], in the image of God [“the invisible God” Col 1:15, i.e., thought] created he him; male and female [two interrelated “entities” in one container (body), i.e., logic & emotion] created he them.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful [Heb: bear fruit: bring forth fruit], and multiply [Heb: increase], and replenish [Heb: to fill] [2,3] the earth, and subdue it [Heb: tread down, conquer: bring under] [from a wild state into a domesticated state]: and have dominion [Heb: reign, rule] over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed [i.e., barley, wheat, (corn = grain)], which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat [Heb: food] [i.e., every fruit tree, only].
1.    phantom: Dict. = 1. something that seems to appear to the sight but has no physical existence; apparition; vision, specter. 2. something that exists only in the mind.
2.    plenish: Dict. = to fill up; furnish; stock.
3.    replenish:  Dict. = to make full or complete again.

(Gen 2:8,9)  And the LORD God planted a garden [Heb: a garden (as fenced) /// to hedge about, protect, defend] eastward [(from Him)] in Eden [Heb: pleasure: delight] [a type and shadow of heaven]; and there he put the man whom he had formed.  And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the [fruit] tree of [eternal] life [a type and shadow of Jesus-Christ] also in the midst [syn: center, heart] of the garden, and the [fruit] tree of knowledge of good and evil [a type and shadow of Lucifer-Satan, not “in the midst”].

COINCIDENCE??
MEN ARE SYMBOLIZED BY FRUIT TREES IN THE BIBLE
(Psa 1:1-3)  Blessed [Heb: happy] is the man that walketh not in the counsel [Heb: advice] of the ungodly, nor standeth [Heb: dwells] in the way of sinners [Heb: criminals], nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful [Heb: mockers].  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  And he shall be like a tree planted [Heb: transplanted] [from heaven to the earth] by the rivers of water [a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit of God], that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf [Heb: foliage] [covering] also shall not wither [for lack of water]; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper [Heb: to push forward: be good, be profitable] [“good” Gen 1:12].

THE PARABLE OF THE WEEDS
(Luke 8:11)  Now the parable is this: The seed [fruit] is the word of God.

(Matt 13:24-30)  Another parable [Gk: a ficticious narrative conveying of common life conveying a moral] put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man [Jesus Christ] which sowed [planted His] good seed [pure seeds derived from the tree of life (Jesus Christ)] in his field:  But while men slept [i.e., did not pay attention], his enemy came and sowed tares [impure evil (poisonous) seeds derived from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Lucifer Satan)] among the wheat, and went his way.  But when the blade [the stem] was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.  So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares [bad, evil, poisonous seeds]?  He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?  But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.  Let both grow together until the harvest [Gk: reaping the crop]: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

THE PARABLE OF THE WEEDS EXPLAINED
(Matt 13:36-40)  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples [Gk: learners, pupils] [students] came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man [i.e., the tree of life]; (Matt 13:38)  The field is the world [Gk: kosmos; “cosmos”] [Dict: universe] [1]; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; (Matt 13:39)  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world [Gk: aion; this age]; and the reapers are the angels. (Matt 13:40)  As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world [Gk: aion; this age] [2].
1.    cosmos: Dict. = 1. the universe considered as a harmonious and orderly system. 2. harmony; order.
2.    Commentary: In the latter three consecutive verses, by contrasting the original Greek use of “the world (kosmos) v.38, and “the world” (aion) v.39 and the clarification of “this world” (aion) v.40, we are led to understand that kosmos represents the entirety of the Kingdom of God/Heaven, i.e., the vast expanse of the universe emcompassing uncountable billions of stars and planets. Whereas aion, our earth world, in comparison, represents a relatively small tiny exceedingly miniscule microscopic part of the Kingdom of God/Heaven, a part that is depicted in the Bible, in types and shadows, as the garden of Eden. Imagine the universe in your mind… and who then are you? Humility anyone?

WEEDING THE GARDEN
(Matt 13:41-43)  The Son of man shall send forth his angels [His Spirit, fruit, words], and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity [Gk: lawlessness: unrighteousness];  And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  Then shall the righteous shine forth [Gk: be resplendent /// beam, radiate brilliancy: give light] as the sun in the kingdom of their Father [i.e., in the “kosmos” universe]. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear [1].
1.    (Mark 16:15)  And he [Jesus] said unto them, Go ye [i.e., do something] into all the world [Gk: kosmos; “cosmos”] [Dict: universe], and preach the gospel [of love] to every creature [Gk: (every living) creation (of God)].
