The depth of our revelations depends upon the correctness of our doctrine

WATER (to soften), THE HOLY GHOST (to transform), AND FIRE (to purge)

(Mat 3:10-12) And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees [biblical symbol of men and women]: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I [John the Baptist] indeed baptize you with water [biblical symbol of the word of God] unto repentance [Gk: to think differently, reconsider]: but he [Jesus Christ] that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost [upon and consequent to His first coming], and with fire [upon His second coming]: Whose fan [Gk: winnowing fork] is in his hand, and he will throughly purge [Gk: to cleanse perfectly, (specifically) winnow] his floor, and gather [Gk: sunago; assemble] his wheat into the garner [Gk: barn]; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

  1. (Eph 5:25-27) Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify [Gk: make holy] and cleanse [Gk: purge, purify] it with the washing [Gk: a bath, fig. baptism] of water by the word [Gk: rhema (revelations)], That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

  2. (John 4:13,14) Jesus answered and said unto her [the Samaritan woman], Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

  3. (John 7:37,38) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

    1. (Heb 4:12) For the word [Gk: logos; (seed)] of God is quick [Gk: alive], and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

    2. soul = Gk: the animal sentient principle only

      1. sentient = Dict: 1. that feels; having the power of perception by the senses. 2. characterized by sensation. 3. the mind.

    3. spirit = Gk: the rational and immortal soul

      1. rational = Dict: 1. agreeable to reason; reasonable; sensible. 2. having or exercising reason, sound judgment, or good sense. 3. being in or characterized by full possession of one’s reason; sane; lucid.

  4. (John 16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come [i.e., prophecy].

    1. (1 John 2:27) But the anointing [Gk: the smearing, the special endowment (chrism) of the Holy Spirit /// to smear or rub with oil] which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

  5. (Rom 12:1,2) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable [Gk: rational] service. And be not conformed [Gk: fashioned alike, to the same pattern: fashion self according to] to this world: but be ye transformed [Gk: (metamorphose): changed, transfigured, transformed] by the renewing [Gk: renovation /// re-new (re-structuring)] of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  6. (Mat 13:30) Let both [the wheat and the tares] grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers [“the angels” Mat 13:39], Gather ye together [Gk: sullego; collect] first the tares [Gk: darnel (poisonous weeds)], and bind them in bundles [poisonous (ungodly) like-thinking groups, associations, clubs, alliances, e.g., homosexuals, feminists, abortionists] to burn them: but gather [Gk: sunago; assemble] the wheat [edible grain (seeds)] into my barn [tabernacle].
